The Witch-Finder & The Headless Leper Two East Anglian Ghost Stories by Frederick Cowles Read by Christopher Halton Tonight, Haunted Tales of Darkness presents two short supernatural tales from the wonderfully macabre imagination of Frederick Cowles. In The Witch-Finder, we travel back to seventeenth-century East Anglia, where Hugh Murray has made a grim profession from the persecution of supposed witches. But on a lonely road during a violent storm, the hunter is about to discover that those he condemned may not have finished with him. Then, in The Headless Leper, a childhood encounter at the ruins of an ancient leper chapel leaves behind a disturbing memory. Years later, when the forgotten site finally reveals its secret, the discovery offers a chilling explanation for what was seen there. Separated by centuries but united by their East Anglian settings, both stories explore one of Cowles's favorite ideas: the past may be buried, but it does not always remain at rest.

In the final part of The Paranormal Debate: Haunted Dolls & Objects, we continue our deep dive into the controversial world of haunted dolls.
Are haunted dolls actually real, or have they become nothing more than clickbait? How many of these dolls are truly haunted—or have a spirit attached to them?
Chuy breaks down the process his team uses when investigating a supposedly haunted doll and how they try to determine whether a spirit is actually connected to it. We also tackle another big question: If a spirit is attached to a doll or object, can it leave that vessel and move on to something—or someone—else?
We wrap up the debate by questioning what we really know about haunted dolls, spirit attachments, and the stories surrounding them. Where does the evidence end and the hype begin?

The Order of Nine Angles (O9A) is a secretive and highly controversial occult movement that emerged in the United Kingdom during the late 20th century. Blending esoteric philosophy, Satanism, and extreme ideological beliefs, the group promotes a path of self-transformation through dangerous ordeals and the rejection of conventional morality. Its writings, symbolism, and alleged influence have drawn significant attention from researchers and law enforcement due to links between some followers and acts of violent extremism. Whether viewed as a genuine occult order, a decentralized ideology, or an elaborate myth, the O9A remains one of the most mysterious and debated groups in modern occult history.

Queen City Ghost Walk proprietor and guide Holli Bushnell has never lived more than a mile from a cemetery. A native of Rochester, Vermont, she practiced choir songs in the cemetery next to her home and listened to music on her Walkman while balancing on the narrow stone borders that outline family lots. In addition to her work as storyteller, Holli is a sexton for Burlington’s cemeteries, a writer, tarot reader and end of life doula.
